The ART-team, which has been developed within the framework of the project RoboCup Italia, is formed by 7 research groups, currently working on different aspects of the design of autonoumous mobile robots, and by the Consorzio Padova Ricerche, which has provided resources to set up the team and to realize the field at their site in Padova. ART's goals are the following:
  1. set up a team to successfully compete in RoboCup; 
  2. develop research activities to qualify from a scientific standpoint the Italian partecipation in RoboCup; 
  3. promote teaching initiatives to foster the partecipation of Italian students in research on intelligent mobile robotics;
  4. support the development of wider research projects on intelligent mobile robotics.
