Research activities

The research activities of the Nonlinear Programming group are devoted to the theoretical analysis, the development and the computational experimentation of methods for solving Nonlinear Optimization problems. The solution of problems arising from real world applications is also of interest. The main topics considered are:

- Unconstrained Optimization
- Constrained Optimization
- Variational Inequalities and complementarity problems
- Neural Networks
- Applications in Industrial Engineering
