Social Event at Hadrian's Villa
Thursday, June 7, 2007
The WEA 2007 social event will be a trip to Hadrian's Villa in Tivoli, an exceptional complex of classical buildings created in the 2nd century A.D. by the Roman emperor Hadrian. It combines the best elements of the architectural heritage of Egypt, Greece and Rome in the form of an 'ideal city'. Hadrian's Villa is an outstanding UNESCO World Heritage site located just outside ancient Tibur, modern Tivoli, some 28 km East of Rome. The event will be concluded by a dinner in Tivoli.
The social event, including the dinner, admission ticket and guided tour of Hadrian's Villa, is included in the regular registration fee. Extra tickets can be purchased at the price of EUR 80 using the WEA registration form, or on-site at the WEA registration desk, subject to availability.
