The Library, in collaboration with Ebsco, has organized a presentation of Business Source Complete, EBSCO Discovery Service, and EDS, Tuesday April 3rd at 14.00 in the Aula Magna of the Department, Via Ariosto, 25.

In the first session, we will present Business Source Complete, the leading collection of bibliographic and full-text content covering all disciplines of business, including such topics as management, economics, finance and related subjects, as well as detailed information on over 1 million public and private companies. The contents of the database and useful search features will be discussed, as well as user customization, and the configuration of alerts.

In the second session,  we will present The EDS EBSCOHost Discovery Service platform, a recent acquisition of La Sapienza. The platform allows, in one integrated environment, access to all content in the La Sapienza Library System (SBS.)  The user interface provides advanced search options such as the restriction of results within a specific interest, individually customizable alerts, saved searches, citation exports, and shared folders for when researchers are working in teams.

We will conclude with a discussion of "Linkresolvers." 

The seminar is appropriate for all professors, students and researchers who would like to broaden their knowledge of the available bibliographic research tools.  The seminar will be held in Italian, but discussion in English is encouraged.
