Iniziativa Software 2

Iniziativa Software 2 (ISW2) is a Finmeccanica initiative concerning the creation of public-private laboratories in the field of software research.

ISW2 project aims at designing and implementing an automatic maritime surveillance system for port security.


ARGOS

From June 2006 to May 2008, I was involved in the ARGOS project. ARGOS stands for Automatic Remote Grand canal Observation System.

The projetct aims at realizing a pioneer video surveillance system for the city of Venice (Italy).

Visual modeling of people behaviors and interactions for professional training

The method is applied to the training of nurses in the School of Nursing Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences at Kingston University London.

The aim is to detect and track people in order to analyze their behavior.

SAMURAI Project

SAMURAI (Suspicious and Abnormal behaviour Monitoring Using a netwoRk of cAmeras for sItuation awareness enhancement) is a collaborative project funded under

the European Commission Seventh Framework Programme Theme 10 (Security).

The aim of SAMURAI is to develop and integrate an innovative intelligent surveillance system for monitoring people and vehicle activities at both inside and surrounding

areas of a critical public infrastructure.
