Workflows for Mac OS X 10.4+
Maybe other fellow Mac users will find useful these Automator workflows for manipulating PS, PDF, and BIB files.
pdf-merge: concatenates the selected PDF files (in the order as they are listed) to create a single new merged PDF called <first-filename>.merged.pdf
ps-2pdf: converts each selected PS file into a PDF file called <filename>.pdf (the original files are left untouched)
bib-pretty: pretty-prints each selected BIB file into a new BIB file called <filename>.pretty.bib (the original files are left untouched)
bib-autokeys: in addition to pretty-printing, new citation keys are automatically generated for each selected file and put into a new file called <filename>.newkeys.bib
Select the files you want to process in the Finder, control-click on them and access the "Automator" submenu, where you can select the desired workflow to be executed.
Download workflows.zip and copy the contents into ~/Library/Workflows/Applications/Finder/ (create the directory if necessary).
