My main research interests are in the robotic field and in the applied programming field.

Within the robotics my main research activities concern the study of nonlinear control theory applied to underactuated systems. At present I am working on a robotic system called Butterfly. I am studing the control of the so called non prehensile manipulation tasks.

My research interests also concern the use of the remote control and communication, telecontrol, teleoperations and remote learning in general. I am currently member of a research group active on eLearning projects.
In particular, the project I am currently working on is called REAL (Remote Experiments for Active Learning) Lab, a telelaboratory for performing control experiments on robotic systems. REAL Lab allows to execute virtual experiments on simulated systems as well as physical experiments on real systems.

To have more information about the Butterfly and the control problems I intend to face with or about the REAL Lab project please follow the links in the Links section.
