Bertinoro is picturesque, with many narrow streets and walkways winding around the central peak.  It is also close to several beautiful cities like for example Ravenna and Republic of San Marino. The University Residential Centre of Bertinoro is an ex-Episcopal fortress that has been converted by the University of Bologna into a modern conference centre.
