What the School is About
The school focused on several themes of cutting-edge
research in the area
of data exchange, data integration and web service modeling and
composition. The
school format
fostered close interaction between students and lecturers who worked
together and discussed open problems of contemporary research. Grants were available under the Leonardo Melandri program (see
application form).

Residential Centre of Bertinoro is an ex-Episcopal fortress that has
been converted by the University of Bologna into a modern conference
centre.
Bertinoro can be easily reached by train or by taxi from
Bologna
(see detailed
travel information). Detailed information on train
connections can
be found at the official
site of
trenitalia.
