Office Hours

Exam

For those students who attended at least 75% of the lectures, the examination is based on a project.
Awareness of methodologies, technologies, and software tools adopted in the project is - of course - expected.

Projects

For discussing a possible topics for the projects, please contact professor Nanni in office hours, or arrange an appointment by telephone (in office hour, please) or by e-mail.

Requirements and Suggestions

Regardless the topic, the discussion of the project requires: Additional presentations (powerpoint, or similar) are NOT required.

As an example (this meas that, yes, a different structure is OK), a typical report, depending on the considered project, might include:

  1. Definition
  2. How
  3. What
  4. Output
The adoption of design formalism is required, notably in the "what" section: UML diagrams and/or workflows and/or Dimensional Fact Model.

Additional suggestions:

Discussion

The project can be discussed by arranging an appointment with Prof. Nanni (email, or a telephone call or a visit in office hours) or (according the topic) with Prof. Massimo Mecella.
