Hotel Booking Information

Hotel reservations may be made at the special rate of $159 per night by calling the hotel directly at 703-284-1448, or at their toll free number 1-800-228-9290. You must reference the IEEE Computer Society PADS conference when making reservations to receive this rate. The rate is guaranteed for reservations made before Monday, April 22, 2002. If you wish to tour Washington DC, the hotel will extend these special rates to conference participants up to three days prior and three days after the meeting. The hotel's check-in time is 3:00 PM and the check-out time is 1:00 PM.

Conference Information

The 2002 Parallel and Distributed Simulation Conference is the 16th incarnation of this high-quality presentation of parallel processing techniques applied to simulation technology. Leading off the conference will be a keynote speech by Dr. David Nicol of the Computer Science department in Dartmouth College. Many papers in various different topics of parallel simulation will be presented.

The conference registration fee includes: Sunday afternoon tutorial; coffee breaks; Sunday evening reception; continental breakfast on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; Lunch on Monday and Tuesday; and a Banquet on Tuesday evening.

Conference Excursion

The conference excursion, as currently planned, is a boat trip along the Potomac on Monday evening. This will be a separate charge to participants, yet to be determined.
