NEWS: Professors' Strike regarding the Autumn 2016-2017 Exam session
Professors' strike promoted by the "Movement for Dignity of University Professors" (Movimento per la Dignità della Docenza Universitaria) starts on August 28.
According to the guidelines on the strike procedure provided by the promoters, the teacher who intends to join the strike MUST suspend the exams for the courses taking place on the first scheduled exam date in the period August 28 to October 31.

ATTENDING STUDENTS
Homework
There are three homeworks posted every two weeks. HWs have a due date as reported in the calendar. Please write your homework/reports in English.
Homeworks will be done individually. It is acceptable for students to collaborate in figuring out answers and helping each other solve the problems. We will be assuming that you will be taking the responsibility to make sure you personally understand the solution to any work arising from such collaboration.
Electronic submission:
Homework is worth full credit untile midnight of the due date. Send your homework by email to Ing. Dellepiane and to Laura Palagi with subject [OMML 2016] Project "NUMBER"
For late homework, the score will be decreased. It is worth 85% for the next 48 hours. It is worth 70% from 48 to 120 hours after the due date. It is worth 50% credit after 120 hours delay. You must turn in all the homeworks in order to be admitted to the final term.
Exams
There are a midterm and a final exam.
You can bring notes and the textbook. Other books or electronic devices are not allowed.
Grading
Grade 31 stands for 30 cum laude
NOT ATTENDING STUDENTS
Students that cannot attend the course need to prepare a project (40%), multiple choice exam (10%) and to have an oral exam (50%) on the full program. Discussion of the project, multiple choice and oral exams are only in the official dates.
