Welcome to my website!
I'm Alberto Pretto, charter member and R&D consultant at IT+Robotics Srl, a spin-off company of the University of Padova working in the field of machine vision and industrial robotics.

I'm also charter member and CEO of FlexSight Srl, a new startup company working in the field of smart RGB-D sensors and computer vision.

Till September 2018, I was a fixed-term assistant professor at the Department of Computer, Control, and Management Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome, but my research collaborations still continue, at least in my spare time! My research topics are robotic vision and autonomous mobile robots perception and navigation. In the research section there's a brief overview about my activities, a list of my papers is available in the publications section.
